Beautiful image! I have a weakness for Greek myth and this is a good one. I like the idea of Arachne mid-metamorposis, but for me the modern shoe is detracts from the' time and place' you've created. Very good work nonetheless.

Back from a long hibernation with work that really bites! This work is awesome, and I think it'll send you lots of happy votes. Your anime style has worked well for you here, it's developed with a good realistic synergy - the kind of style I'm after myself! The foliage is well done. Full of care but not too much on the details. The lady's skin is really believable, and her look is stunning. Technique wise, you've come really far. But when do you intend to draw more males? I'd like to see if you can command the same skill with drawing and painting guys.

congratulations, this work is truly amazing! i can see some little problem of proporortions (i.e. her right hand), but completely obscured from the great atmosphere, the details and the composition. it's for artworks like this i loved gfx the first time i came here you have my higher vote, +7

There should be liked more trees forged into the fog because, she is in the woods isn't she?? where at the level of her waist? because she isn't actly at the top of the tree canopy. because i see still big tree branches from lower parts of the trees. but i realy like the picture concept with the girl and the spider! I do see some problems with the proportions of her body - for instance, her thighs look a little large for the size of her waist and upper torso. However, since she is obviously not human, who's to say her body should be strictly humanoid? I love the mutted background of this piece, the creative wings, and, especially, the draping of her 'skirt' (?) , and the way it almost echoes the draping of the moss. Very nicely done.

I ask myself why, with a so cloudy sky, the moon is so visible and light...I don't like her foot and her right hand, even because it seems to be on the wrong arms...isn't it a left hand on a right arm? However, she reminds me a lot of Cry of angel sanctuary, maybe because the colours of hair and the eyes' form. Maybe the whole picture is a bit gray, but it's still nice
